My mind has been totally blown by all of the wonderful gaming opportunities presented these first two quarters in the gaming market.

I’ve only gotten to play a few of the already released titles, but DMC, Ni No Kuni, Fire Emblem and Tomb Raider have all really impressed me. Each of the games does something innovative for their respective genres, and each was incredibly enjoyable. I feel like Tomb Raider in particular has set the tone for a new idea of how to tell a story through the video game medium.
The upcoming releases vary in both type and genre, but I am personally looking forward to BioShock Infinite and The Last of Us. This bountiful spring seems like this generation’s last hurrah before the next-gen mayhem descends upon us in at E3. Be sure to snatch up some of these titles to help sustain you through the horrible lull that will come this summer!
